Mike and I visited San Francisco during the 2015 California road trip and wanted to experience a day in the the city. It's very hilly and we got to see the fog rolling in off of the water and around the Golden Gate Bridge.
The Golden Gate Bridge, connecting the city of San Francisco with Marin County to its north, was the bridge with longest span in the world from the time it was completed in 1937 until the completion of the Verrazano Narrows Bridge in New York in 1964.
We rode on the cable cars and saw the colorful Victorian houses. Then drove through the Financial District and saw the Transamerica Pyramid.
It was a great adventure and I fell in love with San Francisco and the many diverse areas of the city.
