Mike and I had on our list to drive up to the summit of Likes Peak. We really enjoyed the sometimes scary, but scenic Pikes Peak Highway.
We encountered some of the most breathtaking scenery as we drove through the alpine wonderland, mountain reservoirs, upward beyond the timberline, overtaking the clouds, and finally arrived to the 14,115 foot summit. They call Pikes Peak America's most famous mountain.
