Mike and I decided to stop and have lunch at this gorgeous lake. Lake Topaz is really calm, serene lake easily accessible right off of 395. There is a somewhat large turnout going north on 395 where you can park and walk down to the lakeshore. Very few people, no nearby noise and surrounded by mountains on all sides.
