Is Epstein Barr Virus Causing Your Dis Ease?

Are you familiar with Epstein Barr Virus ,otherwise known as EBV? I wasn't until I started getting very sick years ago. I have literally been trying to heal myself for the past ten years. Dis ease is the absence of ease, or freedom. It is a disorder of structure or function that produces specific symptoms that is not simply a direct result of physical injury.



My body started going downhill, very fast, when I was in my late thirties and early 40's. I was constantly going to the doctors and was told that I'm getting older and it was part of growing old. That's when I was diagnosed with Hashimotos. Years later, I finally quit the job that was causing so much stress, but the damage was done. I was so incredibly stressed out every day. It was so bad and the stress reactivated the EBV. I didn't know this and started doing fasting to heal my body. I love fasting and the amazing benefits.




I didn't know what it was until I found Medical Medium nearly 6 years later. When Mike and I were in New Jersey, in 2018, I was getting painful arthritis in my hands, sciatic nerve pain all day long. The severe pain, shooting down my left hip to my foot, would stop me in my tracks and I literally couldn't move. I was getting fibromyalgia pains that would wake me out of my sleep. My hair falling out in handfuls, bald spots appearing at my temples. I was just trying to figure out what was going on and was diagnosed with Hashimoto's dis ease.



The Hashimoto's hypothyroidism symptoms I had were weight gain, inflammation, vertigo, speech problems, cognitive issues, etc. I blamed all of my new symptoms on Hashimoto's, but what I learned changed my life. I literally had to become a living experiment. I read everything that I could get my hands on. The doctors thought I was crazy but I knew something was not right.




I searched and searched and I found out about the Epstein Barr Virus. Thanks to Medical Medium, more and more doctors are taking the kissing virus - mono more seriously. I don't remember ever having mono, or mononucleosis, but over 95% of the human population has EBV, that causes mononucleosis.


When I started researching years ago, most doctors said that EBV happens when we're kids or teenagers, we get sick and it goes away. Well, I found out that the EBV virus stays dormant in our bodies and reactivates when we get stressed.


I am still on my Hashimoto's medicine, but it hasn't increased in three years. I read that once you start thyroid medicine you can't stop because the thyroid stops working because of the medication. But, I feel like a million dollars, so healthy and I am so incredibly happy that I tried everything and found a solution.


There are several stages of the EBV from Medical Medium -


Stage one - The virus starts replicating itself and growing in numbers.


Stage two - Mononucleosis

It’s during this stage that EBV seeks a long-term home by making a run for one or more of your major organs—typically your liver and/or spleen. EBV loves being in these organs because mercury, dioxins, and other toxins are likely to accumulate there. The virus thrives on these poisons. Once the virus settles into your liver, spleen, and/or other organs, it nests there.


Stage three - The virus bides its time until it senses stress-related hormones indicating you’re in an especially vulnerable state, stressful job or over working, enduring a severe emotional blow, or suffering a physical jolt such as being in a car accident, or when it senses you’re undergoing hormonal upheaval, such as during pregnancy or menopause. When the virus is nearly ready to spring, it begins excreting its neurotoxin. This adds to the burden on your system already created by EBV’s byproduct and virus corpses. All this poison in your system finally triggers your immune system, however it has no idea where the toxins are coming from because EBV hides in the organs. The result -

Stage four - The ultimate goal of the Epstein-Barr virus is to leave your thyroid and inflame your central nervous system. Blood tests, X-rays, and MRIs will reveal nothing wrong, so doctors won’t be aware of the virus inflaming the nerves. The result -

Patients with these issues are sometimes diagnosed as having hypo or hyper thyroid dysfunction, fibromyalgia, chronic fatigue syndrome, multiple sclerosis, or rheumatoid arthritis, etc. All of these diseases have the collections of symptoms that medical communities admit they don’t understand and for which they have no cure.


I read what to eat and followed the protocol as much as I could. I ate all raw food (fruits & veggies) and chicken or tuna every day trying to follow the protocol given by Medical Medium. I started drinking veggie green juice with spirulina every day. Now he says celery juice helps out tremendously. I just tried everything he said. I stopped eating out and only ate what was on his list. The thing is, we stayed at nice hotels with free food, but I only ate food from the grocery stores. I didn't trust anyone but myself to heal myself by then.



I did it, with the help of Medical Medium. The pain went away. All of the pain went away and I got well. I know for a FACT that I WILL get very, very sick if I don't eat healthy. This is why I stay very strict on the week days and limit cheat days now that I'm healthy. I want to stay healthy.





No hormone-disrupting food like processed food, eggs and dairy, minimizing animal protein to once daily. Certain fruits and vegetables can help your body rid itself of EBV and heal from its effects. The following are the best ones to incorporate into your diet (listed in rough order of importance). Try to eat at least three of these foods per day—the more the better—rotating your consumption so that in a given week or two, you get all of these foods into your system.

  • Wild blueberries: help restore the central nervous system and flush EBV neurotoxins out of the liver.

  • Celery: strengthens hydrochloric acid in the gut and provides mineral salts to the central nervous system.

  • Sprouts: high in zinc and selenium to strengthen the immune system against EBV.

  • Asparagus: cleanses the liver and spleen; strengthens the pancreas.

  • Spinach: creates an alkaline environment in the body and provides highly absorbable micronutrients to the nervous system.

  • Cilantro: removes heavy metals such as mercury and lead, which are favored foods of EBV.

  • Parsley: removes high levels of copper and aluminum, which feed EBV.

  • Coconut oil: antiviral and acts as an anti-inflammatory.

  • Garlic: antiviral and antibacterial that defends against EBV.
