Iguana Beach in the Bahamas, also known are Leaf Cay, is home to the only remaining Bahamian Rock Iguanas in the world. The Bahamian Iguanas that live on Iguana Beach are an endangered species of reptiles that have evolved over the course of 3 million years. We took a speed boat out to Iguana Beach to see these little dinosaurs. It was a very interesting and fun experience because the guide let us feed the iguanas crackers. They were very hungry or just enjoyed eating.
Second time around, we were by ourselves. We anchored near Lee Stocking Island and decided to come over to Leaf Cay to feed the little Iguanas.
