Exploring The Gateway Arch National Park And The New Museum, St. Louis, Missouri

The new museum at St. Louis' iconic Gateway Arch National Park opened to the public on July 3rd.

The Arch is 630-foot-tall, made of concrete and stainless-steel and looks over the St. Louis riverfront. The Arch is a monument to celebrate the will and strength of those involved in the westward expansion of the United States. The Arch was completed in 1965. There are eight tram pods that are super small with a four foot tall opening.

Recently there was a $380 million dollar upgrade to open up the new underground museum. It was an amazing experience walking back through time and watch how the West was won.

Explore the quirky adventures and misadventures as I take you on a journey of the United States National Parks. These journeys inspired me to explore even more about the history of the United States, the good, the bad and the ugly. These journeys are encouragements to explore, or re-examine these beautiful lands. From mountain roads with hairpin turns to stunning seaside escapes to exploring good old American history, these areamazing journeys to take in this lifetime.
