Mike and I found the coolest road right next to the Appalachian Hiking Trail from Georgia to Maine. We knew the views would be beautiful

We started in the Southern Appalachians, which include Georgia, North Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia and West Virginia. Here we drove through the Smokey Mountains National Park and the Shenandoah National Park.

The Mid-Atlantic states include Maryland, Delaware, Pennsylvania, and New York. Here we drove the Poconos Mountains, and the Adirondack Mountains.

The New England stretch of the trail takes you through Connecticut, Vermont, New Hampshire, and Maine.

Here we drove through White Mountain National Forest, Green Mountain National Forest, Acadia National Park.
