Good morning!
Welcome to Day 28, the last day of our Chakra Cleanse. Today we are finishing up on our Crown Chakra.
The Crown Chakra is the seventh and final chakra. It gives us access to higher states of consciousness as we open to what is beyond our personal preoccupations and visions. The function of the Crown chakra is driven by consciousness and gets us in touch with the universe.
Each of us have 7 Chakras and when balanced they work together to create an optimal life. If you would like to know more, here’s the info on the Daily Guide and What Are CHAKRAS.
If you would like to join me in cleaning my chakras, I would love it!
Yesterday's exercises -
Educate myself, check! I downloaded ‘As A Man Thinketh’ by James Allen .
Intermittent Fasting, check! I didn’t eat for most of the day to let my body heal.
Meditation, check! I meditated to binaural beats.
Yoga - Fish Pose, check! This was a little difficult but I think I did pretty good.
Affirmation, check! I repeated “I am free of limiting beliefs.”
I am feeling amazing! I’m so glad that I chose to do this and I hope that you got something out of it. I really needed it for all the changes that I’ve been going through and this process has helped tremendously. Let’s finish it up!
Today we are going to focus on being open to guidance.
The spirit is the non-physical part of us which is the seat of emotions and character or our soul. It is also said to be the non-physical part of us that is our true self and as capable of surviving physical death or separation. It’s also said to be our supernatural being. No matter what religions you read about, they all mention this spirit.
1. Be open to guidance
Communication - God, Universe, or the Higher self speaks through other people to us. Pay attention to the messages, suggestions, or emotions others send to us through communication. People often leave clues and ideas for us to grow from through conversations. We can learn to listen and be aware of them.
Deja vu - This is an experience showing us a glimpse into time. Deja vu makes us say, “I’ve seen this before, I’ve been here or this feels familiar.” Deja vu can serve as a clue that we’re along the right path or letting us know what’s to come. Write down moments of deja vu in a log and analyze what it may symbolize.
Desires - Spirit speaks through desires. In order for us to truly satisfy our soul urges and heart’s desires, we need to be open minded and willing to listen to them. True desires are destinations of our spirit.
Gut Instint - Our gut instinct is our spirit vibrating and speaking to us and telling us what to do. Listen up
Synchronicity - This is seeing repeating numbers a lot. I always, always see 1234 or 12:34. We can study numerology to understand the symbolism of numbers. For example for me, 1234 is referred to as a full-circle number because when we add together all the digits and reduce it to a single digit, we will obtain number 1 (1+2+3+4=10 and 1+0=1). Number 1 is related to leadership and breaking new ground. As a creator and leader, I possess a desire to build something that will outlast my lifetime. I have within my heart the desire to make a difference in the world and leave something for the next generation. It is also known as an Angel Number that indicates that I want to simplify my life and have fresh start. Additionally, seeing this number quite often could be a message telling me that I’m awakening and coming back to my true self. I believe all of these are true for me. Super cool!
We still want to use meditation, yoga pose, food and an affirmation because this awakens and strengthens our chakra. We need all the help that we can get.
2. Meditation:
Here’s an app for Insight Timer Meditation
Here is the YouTube video for Binaural beats to use with earphones.
Meditate for as long as you would like and it's even better if you are out in nature feeling the grass and trees around to ground you.
Close your eyes and feel the earth beneath you. Inhale taking in fresh nourishing energy, exhale releasing all of the things that no longer serve you or help you move forward.
Sit with your shoulders back and your spine straight. Try to relax all your muscles as you close your eyes and breathe deeply. Inhale through the nose, pulling the breath as far down into your body as you can, and exhale through the mouth.
Chant OM while meditating
Ooooooommmm
Focus a violet, warm healing, light coming from the from the very top our forehead.
3. Food: Fasting
Fasting is known as the practice of abstaining for food, usually for a short period of time. Despite its recent surge in popularity, fasting is a practice that dates back centuries and plays a central role in many cultures and religions. Fasting can be great for your overall health because it delays aging, detoxes and heals the body, increases human growth hormone, muscle growth, weight loss, . There are many different ways of fasting.
Water Fasting where we only drink water for 24 hours. Some people like to fast much longer up to a month. I’ve only been able to last for six days.
Intermittent Fasting where we don’t eat for 16 to 23 hours straight. This can be where we eat from 11AM to 7PM. These hours work best for me but you pick the hours that you eat the most and it can only be between 1 to 8 hours.
4. Yoga pose: Lotus Pose
The Lotus Pose is a sitting position traditionally used for meditation practice. The legs are crossed with the feet on opposite thighs, if possible, back straight and arms resting on top of the knees. This pose is used to help encourage proper breathing while grounding us and creating physical stability. It may seem like a simple pose but it is extremely powerful for connecting the mind, body and spirit. The lotus flower is an ancient symbol that has been represented in many religions. Many of its meanings include enlightenment, renewal, rebirth, purity, beauty and spiritual wealth. It is called the healing pose because of the way the body is arranged. The lotus pose is said to help put healing pressure on the stomach, gallbladder, spleen, kidneys and liver. Overall, it helps change the metabolic structure and brain patterns to create balance and harmony throughout the body.
If you have any medical concerns, talk with your doctor before practicing yoga.
We begin in a sitting position on the mat. We place our right foot on top of our left thigh.
Then we bend our left leg and grab onto our left foot, placing it on top of the right thigh. Don’t worry if you’re not flexible enough to get it completely on top of your thigh, I know I can’t right now but practice makes perfect. Just place it as high up as you can without feeling pain. If we can’t do it, we’ll just cross our legs until we can get there.
Once both feet are in place, flex them and pull the inside of the thighs down towards the floor.
Straighten the spine and place both hands on your knees, palms facing up.
Image there’s string attached to the top of your head and every time you breathe in it pulls on your head slightly. Each time you breathe out feel your legs and pelvis grounding into the mat.
Breath slowly and continue this for 6 to 12 breathes.
5. Affirmation: “I listen to the universe.”
When you state an affirmation you are stating a truth. Affirmations are sentences aimed to affect the conscious and the subconscious mind. The words composing the affirmation, automatically and involuntarily, bring up related mental images into the mind, which could inspire, energize and motivate.
Repeat all day long and if you look in the mirror while stating this, even better!
