Bluff Top Trail, Dana Point, California

Bluff Top Trail literally looks like a picture, it's so beautiful! My friend Paige introduced me and Mike to this gorgeous bluff overlooking Dana Point Harbor.

There are arches high above the Dana Point Harbor. The Arches are remnants of Dana Point Inn, that was built in the 1930s by real estate mogul, S.H. Woodruff. Unfortunately, the stock market crash and the Great Depression halted construction; ending his dream. The Dana Point Inn was never completed and sold in 1939 after sitting empty. The Arches were originally going to be large windows overlooking the marina.

There is a life sized sculpture, depicting one of the 19th century sailors who used to toss local cowhides from the cliffs to trade for goods from the ships below.
