A Month in Athol Island, Nassau, Bahamas

We were anchored next to Athol Island of of Nassau because we had just provisioned the boat in Nassau. We were waiting for a good wind to sail down to the Exumas when Covid 19 came to the Bahamas, and then we were told to shelter in place. Due to Covid, we spent over a month anchored near this little island. Here, I learned to make bread, make cooking videos, tried several new recipes. We also got boarded by the Bahamas Military, Police, and Immigration. Whoa! But most of all, Mike did a lot of fishing.

The Military coming to board Yinsanity. This was a common practice near Nassau. We had the Military, Police and Immigration come aboard. We thought that once one division came aboard it was done, but that's not the case at all. Each division is looking for something different and have different forms to complete. Whoa! Nothing is more sobering than the Military men aboard Yinsanity and all of them carrying machine guns. Thanks Covid!

Yes sir, whatever you need.
