Indian Totem Pole 214 DE-26, Bethany Beach, DE 19930 The 24-foot statue at the entrance to Bethany Beach has been a landmark since 1976. The original statue was created by sculptor Peter Wolf Toth. The sculpture was donated as part of his “Trail of the Whispering Giants” project. The statue has been replaced a few times due to weather. 

Bethany Beach Boardwalk Garfield Pkwy, Bethany Beach, DE 19930 The Bethany Beach Boardwalk is 1/2 mile long, 12 feet wide and great for a casual walk or a daily jog.  The boardwalk has foot washing stations at every street for all of those who wish to clean sand from their feet. There are restaurants, stores and daily activities during the summer months.


Bandstand Boardwalk, Bethany Beach, DE 19930 Bandstand performances are scheduled from Memorial Day Weekend through Labor Day Weekend. Performances take place every Friday, Saturday and Sunday. In addition to our Summer Concert Series, we'll also host movies and bonfires on the beach, and every Wednesday in July is kids' night, with activities at Town Hall and at the Bandstand.


The Bethany Beach Loop Canal Intersection of North Pennsylvania Avenue and First Street The Loop Canal was completed in 1910 and was used for travelers going to and from Bethany Beach on a shallow water, wood-burning steamboat called the "Allie May".


Bethany Beach Nature Center 807 Garfield Pkwy, Bethany Beach, DE 19930 Open year round, the Nature Center offers event-specific activities designed to encourage awareness of our Inland Bays and Wetlands while providing hands-on fun. There are  indoor and outdoor eco-programs and exhibits held year round. Programs vary through each season but a few of the programs have had a focus on the monarch butterfly, crabs, bats, birds and plants.


Fenwick Island State Park DE-1, Fenwick Island, DE 19944 (302) 227-2800 Fenwick Island State Park has white sand beaches where umbrellas can be rented to lounge at the beach. There are changing rooms with showers to rinse off. Fenwick Island offers a designated surfing area with lifeguards are on duty between Memorial Day and Labor Day. There are also campgrounds where they rent cabins or tent sites along the beautiful bay waters. The campground offers modern facilities, picnic tables and fire pits. There is disc golf, horseshoes, tennis and horseback riding as well at Fenwick Island State Park.
