Day 9 Solar Plexus Chakra Clense

Good morning!

Welcome to Day 9 and our first day Solar Plexus Chakra cleanse.

A healthy solar plexus chakra controls our identity and allows us to know ourselves so we can live with confidence and strength. With a balanced solar plexus chakra, we will be able to set boundaries and be assertive without being aggressive. It allows us to judge ourselves and others fairly but not critically. We will feel confident and not struggle with self-doubt or aggressive egotism, but instead, feel comfortable in our own skin and trust in our abilities. We’ll come to understand that we have the power of choice.

Our Solar Plexus Chakra is out of balance if we have low self-esteem, difficulty maintaining self-control, depression, anxiety, or feel insecure and unassertive.

Each of us have 7 Chakras and when balanced they work together to create an optimal life. If you would like to know more, here’s the info on the Daily Guide and What Are CHAKRAS.

If you would like to join me in cleaning my chakras, I would love it!

Today we want to focus on Letting Go of Unhealthy Attachments

Unhealthy attachments are tremendous sources of energy loss and are often responsible for solar plexus blockages and energy stagnation. Attachments can be emotional, mental, and also physical. We can become attached to ideals, beliefs, memories, expectations, desires, fears, people, places, objects, and substances.

Attachments are essentially forms of energy that become “stuck” in our bodies and minds. The best way to break an unhealthy attachment is by asking yourself, “Is this attachment serving my highest good?” The moment you can acknowledge that something in your life is detrimental is the point when you can begin the process of recovery. Letting go is about learning how to take care of yourself and find inner stability.

1. Give up a negative attachment

Pick one thing that we know is unhealthy for us and we need to let it go. This is going to be hard but we can do it. Start with something simple like giving up sodas, sweets, or a negative person. Stay strong, we can do it!

We still want to use meditation, yoga pose, food and an affirmation because this awakens and strengthens our chakra. We need all the help that we can get.

2. Meditation:

Here’s an app for Insight Timer Meditation

Here is the YouTube video for Binaural beats to use with earphones.

Meditate for as long as you would like and it's even better if you are out in nature feeling the grass and trees around to ground you.

Close your eyes and feel the earth beneath you. Inhale taking in fresh nourishing energy, exhale releasing all of the things that no longer serve you or help you move forward.

Sit with your shoulders back and your spine straight. Try to relax all your muscles as you close your eyes and breathe deeply. Inhale through the nose, pulling the breath as far down into your body as you can, and exhale through the mouth.

Chant RAM while meditating

Rrrraaaaaaaaaammmm

3. Food: Yellow and Carbohydrates

A healthy Solar Plexus chakra vibrates at the color YELLOW. Incorporate whole grains like: oats, spelt, rice, rye, bananas, corn, pineapple, yellow squash, chamomile and lemons.

4. Yoga pose: Corpse Pose

The corpse pose is considered the easiest but most difficult pose to perform. It requires less physical strength and flexibility but it challenges the mind and body. It relaxes the central nervous system, giving the cells of the body an opportunity to really permeate the fresh oxygenated blood, easing all the muscles and giving them a break . Allowing our body to fully immerse in this pose will signal a sense of gratitude. Corpse pose calms the brain which alleviates headaches, fatigue, stress and mild depression. With a grounded body, mental energy can be channeled inward and the mind can start to explore the body from the inside.

If you have any medical concerns, talk with your doctor before practicing yoga.

Simply lie on the mat with our hands and feet as wide as it is comfortable. Palms up, toes pointed out. Allow our body to melt onto the earth. Take three deep breaths, breath in through the nose, expanding the stomach then breath out the mouth. Let go of the tension between the eyebrows. Relax the eyes, the jaw, the sholders, belly, hands, hips, knees and toes. Imagine the outer hips rolling out onto the ground. Effortlessly, let it ALL go and then stay in the posture for five minutes. This is a great time to evaluate all of the organs, lungs, feeling the blood pumping to the heart. Just be still and listen to the body.

5. Affirmation: “I am whole.”

When you state an affirmation you are stating a truth. Affirmations are sentences aimed to affect the conscious and the subconscious mind. The words composing the affirmation, automatically and involuntarily, bring up related mental images into the mind, which could inspire, energize and motivate.

Repeat all day long and if you look in the mirror while stating this, even better!
