Good morning!
Welcome to Day 7 and we are cleaning our Sacral Chakra.
The second chakra is the sacral chakra. The sacral chakra is associated with the psychological and behavioral functions of emotions, relationships, expression of sexuality, sensual pleasure, creativity and fantasies.
Motivated by pleasure, it’s the driving force for the enjoyment of life through the senses.
When we have a clear, strong sacral chakra, we will feel comfortable in our skin. We will enjoy the pleasures of life, but will be open to experiencing more out of life and passion.

If you would like to join me in cleaning my chakras, I would love it!
Today we want to focus on Spontaneity
Spontaneity is doing something from a natural impulse without being planned. Whoa, I know, I used to have to plan everything, I’m still a planner but learning to live in the moment. In high school, I had every phase of my life planned out in critical detail. Wow, have things changed, I live I'm s foreign country, I lived on a freaking boat and a travel van where things changed day to day. Wow! I’m glad that I’m not that much of a planner anymore.
Being spontaneous can give you some relaxed and uninhabited qualities, because no matter what happens next, you can deal with it. This is an incredible trait to have in life. Being spontaneous Keeps our minds sharp. . Having unknowns in our schedule and being OK with it can force us to focus on what’s at hand. The better we are at coping with unknown situations, the less stress we’ll accrue throughout the day. We don’t want to go overboard with being spontaneous, just something to shake up our day.
1. Today we will be spontaneous.
Here are some ideas of how we can be spontaneous today:
Temporarily change your appearance. Wear a wig, buy a fake nose ring, apply a temporary tattoo; it’s fun to change your appearance, and even more fun when you can do so with no commitments.
Go to a psychic. Just for fun, nothing too pricey. You don’t have to believe in what they say, or take it seriously, but maybe they’ll give you some insight you’ve never heard before.
Take a road trip. Get in your car and drive. Blast whatever music your ears desire and go wherever the road takes you.
Leave an innocent note on the bill when you have a cute waiter/waitress. It will make them feel great and you’ll get a little rush when you think about them reading it. “Hi, I think you’re cute.”
Do something alone. Go see that new romantic comedy by yourself. Buy a huge tub of popcorn that you won’t have to share with anyone. When you aren’t so concerned about the people you’re with it gives you a chance to really take in your surroundings. Maybe you’ll notice something you overlooked when you were too caught up in the crowd.
Call someone. Pick up the phone and dial a friend or family member who you haven't caught up with in far too long.
.
We still want to use meditation, yoga pose, food and an affirmation because this awakens and strengthens our chakra. We need all the help that we can get.
2. Meditation:
Here’s an app for Insight Timer Meditation
Here is the YouTube video for Binaural beats to use with earphones.
Meditate for as long as you would like and it's even better if you are out in nature feeling the grass and trees around to ground you.
Close your eyes and feel the earth beneath you. Inhale taking in fresh nourishing energy, exhale releasing all of the things that no longer serve you or help you move forward.
Sit with your shoulders back and your spine straight. Try to relax all your muscles as you close your eyes and breathe deeply. Inhale through the nose, pulling the breath as far down into your body as you can, and exhale through the mouth.
Chant VAM while meditating
Vvvvaaaaaaaaaammmm
3. Food: Orange
A healthy sacral chakra vibrates at the color ORANGE. So think of incorporating carrots, sweet potatoes, peaches, apricots, mangoes, papayas, pumpkin, salmon and mandarins are excellent at restoring an unbalanced sacral chakra.
4. Yoga pose: Warrior Pose ll
Warrior pose ll is a deep hip-opening pose that opens the chest and shoulders, improving breathing capacity and increasing circulation throughout the body. More than just a physical posture, Warrior II increases our ability to concentrate. Distractions disappear and your energy becomes powerful and focused.
If you have any medical concerns, talk with your doctor before practicing yoga.
Place your feet hip-distance apart. Focus on the present moment. Breathe deeply and evenly, calming your mind.
Turn to the left.
Exhale as you step your feet wide apart, about 4 to 5 feet.
Turn your right foot out 90 degrees, so your toes are pointing to the top of the mat.
Pivot your left foot inwards at a 45-degree angle.
Align your front heel with the arch of your back foot. Keep your pelvis turned toward the front of your mat.
Press your weight through your left heel. Then, exhale as you bend your right knee over your right ankle. Your shin should be perpendicular to the floor. Lift through the arches of your feet, while rooting down through your ankles.
Raise your arms to the side to shoulder height, so they’re parallel to the floor. Your arms should be aligned directly over your legs. With your palms facing down, reach actively from fingertip to fingertip.
Press down through the outer edge of your back foot, keeping your back leg straight.
Hold for up to one minute.
To release the pose, press your weight through your back heel and straighten your front leg. Lower your arms.
Turn to the left, reversing the position of your feet, and repeat for the same length of time on the opposite side.
5. Affirmation: “I value and respect my body”
When you state an affirmation you are stating a truth. Affirmations are sentences aimed to affect the conscious and the subconscious mind. The words composing the affirmation, automatically and involuntarily, bring up related mental images into the mind, which could inspire, energize and motivate.
Repeat all day long and if you look in the mirror while stating this, even better!
